Hey, lovely! I'm Fiona, your Sydney based wedding-obsessed planner and personal cheerleader.
I've been planning weddings for 16 years (yep, time flies when you’re having this much fun!), and I still get butterflies every time I bring a couple’s dream day to life. I left my finance career all those years ago to follow my passion, and I’ve never looked back.
Weddings aren’t just about beautiful details (though I’m all about those too!); they're about creating an experience that feels so perfectly you. Whether you're envisioning an ultra-glam affair, or a heartfelt celebration infused with culture and personality, I’ll be right there, making it happen—stress-free, seamless, and so much fun. I’ll handle everything—from venue scouting to vendor wrangling—so you can soak up every magical moment.

i AM A SERIAL BRIDESMAID
I've been a bridesmaid ten times—yes, ten! I am having my own version of 27 dresses over here!! Being part of so many weddings made me realise just how much I love everything about them. The excitement, the planning, the tiny details—turns out, I was basically a wedding planner before I even knew it!

I Grew up in Zimbabwe
I was born and grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to Australia in 2000 — the same week GST was introduced! Now, Ive spent half my life in each country. Australia gave me the chance to meet the love of my life and build my dream career, so Id say it worked out pretty well!
Hotel Management School Brought me to Australia
I originally came to Australia to study at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, where I earned my degree in Hospitality and Event Management. Later, I completed my Master’s in Accounting—so I don’t just create dream weddings, I also know how to make a wedding budget actually work.

I married my Beautiful Hubby Mark
I’m married to an amazing half-Chinese, half-Swiss man, and our wedding was a beautiful blend of cultures. We had a traditional church ceremony followed by a Chinese tea ceremony, and I fell in love with Asian wedding traditions.
Now, I help so many couples incorporate meaningful cultural elements into their big day!

I love a bit of Reality TV!
I am a huge fan of reality TV — especially anything that dives into weddings and relationships (think Married at First Sight, The Bachelor, and Love Is Blind). So when Jules and Cam from MAFS asked me to plan their wedding, you better believe I did a happy dance around my studio!
It was an absolute honour to bring their dream day to life, and even more special to watch their love story continue to grow. Two incredible humans, one unforgettable wedding — I couldnt be more grateful to have been a part of it!

I'M A DEDICATED VINTAGE COLLECTOR!
If I’m not at a wedding, you’ll probably find me in a vintage store. I love sourcing unique décor pieces for my couples. One of my favourite projects was hunting down over 150 vintage crystal vases for a couple who wanted each guest to receive a flower posy in a crystal vase—it took over a year to source them all, but it was so worth it!

I am 6"2!
I am 6 foot 2 inch tal which is 186cm tall and I still love to wear heels as my hubby is 6” 7 which is over 2m tall. I have found this to be a huge advantage when my couples needs to find me in a crowded room of guests.

WEDDING GOWN SHOPPING
One of my absolute favourite parts of the planning process! There’s nothing like the magic of helping my bride find her dream gown — the one that makes her light up the moment she steps in front of the mirror.
While many planners primarily focus on logistics and styling and do not usually accompany their clients when shopping for a gown, I consider this an important part of the event and love to be involved in this milestone of the planning journey. I believe the gown is the heartbeat of the wedding, setting the tone for the entire day’s aesthetic.
I fully understand if the bride prefers to attend with her mother and bridesmaids. However, in many cases, the bride's family and friends are located overseas. Therefore, I am present to offer support and guidance while visiting these incredible boutiques.

We set up a fully mocked up tablescape with florals, custom linens, candles, charger plates, and your bespoke stationery — so you can see, touch, and feel your wedding design in real life.
It’s your first glimpse of how your big day will look and trust us — it’s pure magic. This is where we fine - tune the details, perfect the floral arrangements, and ensure every element is exactly how you envisioned it. It’s an interactive, hands-on, and unforgettable experience—because your wedding isn’t just about looking beautiful; it’s about feeling absolutely perfect.

This moment gets me every single time. When the couple locks eyes for the first time — whether it's at the altar or during a private first look —it’s pure magic. Months (or years!) of planning, spreadsheets, and decision - making all lead to this one unforgettable second, forever etched in their memories

The Reception Reveal
The moment my couple’s step into their fully styled reception space and see their Wedding Style Guide come to life is priceless. Watching their jaws drop, eyes well up,or hearing an excited squeal when they take it all in — that is what makes every meticulous detail worth it. Whether it’s a relaxed wedding picnic on an island in the harbour, an intimate outdoor celebration at Redleaf with two long tables, or a grand affair at Bennelong, we love creating weddings that truly reflect each couple’s style and personality.

In 2011 — just after launching my business — I won my first for New South Wales with the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA).
Since then, I’ve been honoured to take home this prestigious award four more times!

I’m beyond grateful to my incredible couples for their support, and knowing that I get to do what I love every single day is the real prize.
